Consultations & Vaccinations All animals are given a complete clinical examination as part of every visit, and full details recorded in their history. The clinic is fully computerised and all pathology reports and digital photographs of physical areas of concern are attached directly into your pet’s history. Fully Equipped Medical and Surgical Facilities The following equipment is available at the clinic: X-rays taken on-site New dental equipment including ultrasonic scalers and high-speed drills Blood pressure monitor Endoscope ECG machine Wide range of surgical orthopaedic equipment including air-driven surgical saws and drills Self Service Hydrobath We have a lovely fenced-in patio for do-it-yourself hydrobaths. The area is secure, and can be accessed from the car park, or via reception. It is great for a deep clean of your dog’s coat, and there is an air blower for drying off afterwards. Puppy Pre-school Programme Narelle Trotter, one of our very experienced veterinary nurses, has been conducting Puppy Socialisation and Training classes for many years. The classes are conducted after the clinic closes at 7.00pm. They give your puppy, and yourself, a great start to your relationship together. Prescription Foods and Premium Foods For all nutritional advice, including weight loss programmes, don’t hesitate to drop into the clinic, and a programme can be tailored for your pet. We also stock a full range of prescription diets, which are integral to our management of long-term illnesses such as kidney disease, liver disease, and arthritis. Kitten Adoption Programme We have been finding homes for kittens for the last 5 years. For a minimal amount we desex unwanted kittens and provide all the initial vaccinations, flea treatments and worming. This is a very simple way for a new owner to get through the confusing first few months, but more importantly we have found homes for over 400 kittens that may otherwise not have been re-homed. Vern Ryan Drop-off Centre If you want an easy way to get your dogs to a kennel then they can be left with us, and Vern Ryan’s Pet Resort will pick them up and transport them to their home away from home.
